Requirements

• ComfyUI 0.41.2 or newer. Flux 3 support landed on 15 October 2026; older builds fail with "Could not detect model type".
• Diffusion model: flux3_image_small.safetensors (base) or flux3_image_small_sd.safetensors (step-distilled). Quantised variants work too.
• Text encoder: qwen3vl_4b_bf16.safetensors, loaded with CLIPLoader type flux3.
• VAE: flux2-vae.safetensors — not the BFL-native ae.safetensors.

Usage

Keep the aspect ratio at 2:1. 2048×1024 is comfortable, 4096×2048 works if you have the VRAM. Settings used for the example above:

With the step-distilled checkpoint use ~16 steps and cfg 1 — it is a flow map, higher guidance only costs time.

How the seam fix works

The panorama LoRA gets the wrap close, but not perfect: a visible edge remains where the left and right ends of the image meet. The workflow repairs it in four steps.

1. Crop a strip of W/4 from each end of the panorama.
2. Place them side by side on a square canvas — the seam now sits in the middle.
3. Cover the centre quarter with a white bar and let the seamfix LoRA repaint it.
4. Cut the repaired canvas in half and blend both halves back to x = 0 and x = 3W/4.

Blend them back with a feathered mask instead of a hard paste. 64 px of feather at 4096 px width removes the last visible edge; scale it with your resolution.

Every number in that chain is a fraction of the base width, so doubling the resolution means doubling every value.

Notes

• The workflow includes an optional DLSS enhancement pass at the end; remove it if you don't have the node installed.
• Output is a standard equirectangular image — drop it into any 360 viewer, or use it as an environment map.
